The situation is tense outside the parliament, where the protest called by the opposition is being held.
After throwing smoke grenades in the direction of the parliament building and police officers, the protesters tried to break the police cordon and enter the premises where the plenary session is currently being held.
After the start of a ‘tug-of-war’ between the crowd of protesters and the Rapid Intervention Forces, fortunately, the situation did not escalate further into a physical clash.
The MPs of the Democratic Party who were expelled from today’s plenary session have already joined the protesters and are holding a speech among themselves. Meanwhile, the plenary session scheduled for this Monday is being held inside the premises of the Assembly.
