Analyst Andi Bushati called on the show NOW with Erla Mehlli on Euronews Albania to go on a hunger strike against the government of Edi Rama, otherwise, the battle is lost.
According to Bushati, the opposition is forced to behave in such a way that the only right they have, that of speech, is taken away.
“The opposition is asking for an investigative commission for something that the whole world is boiling over and what is the reaction, 10 MPs are expelled. We have reached a point of absurdity. If it were me, I would have said to abandon the parliament, or to introduce a hunger strike in that parliament. We are facing a regime that will take away people’s right to speak. Should these things be debated in this country or will we become one man’s sheep? I also see those 3 fireworks and those whistles as a reaction to this,” said Bushati.
