The chairman of Nisma Thurrje, Endrit Shabani, says that Prime Minister Edi Rama is the country’s “cancer” and that action is necessary.
In the show “Now” on Euronews Albania, Shabani said that the presence of Sali Berisha at the head of the opposition legitimizes Rama’s power.
“Here the fault lies with the government, with Edi Rama, who is abusing a power that some people gave him and some people took away from him. When power is so concentrated, there comes a point where it cannot stand criticism. I believe that the dilemma is not what Rama is, even those who approach him from behind, go to him to get something. Here we have a cancer. The decision is whether this cancer will be operated on and whether there is a cure for it. But Sali Berisha comes to the aid of Edi Rama, instead of providing a cure”, he emphasized.
