After 6 months in a coma, the 22-year-old Kenyan Joy Ayoko lost her battle with death since August 14 of last year when she was found with few signs of life under her apartment building on “Pandeli Evangjeli” street in Tirana where she lived with some of her friends.
Journalist Anduena Llabani said during NOW with Erla Mehilli on Euronews Albania that the death of the Kenyan woman was shrouded in mystery by the police who hid this event for 3 months in a row.
According to her, the fact that the police kept this incident a secret for 3 months means that other people are hiding behind it who are still being protected.
“The fact that the police kept this incident secret for 3 months means that there are other people behind this who are still being protected. And due to keeping so much information in suspense and the fact that the police did not make it public, it only shows that this story bears the names of characters connected to family members of high government officials. That’s why there is still pressure on the prosecutor’s office regarding this issue,” said the journalist.
