Journalist Lavdrim Lita said in an interview for Euronews Albania that the seizure of Ervis Martinaj’s assets by order of SPAK is intended to bring him out of hiding.

According to Lita, SPAK considers the former gambling boss alive and hiding from justice.

“After raiding the house in Fushe-Kuqe and the house in Surrel, SPAK is trying to get him to come out of his den by cutting off his financial resources from the various assets he has inside Albania.

Although we do not have an official explanation from the police regarding whether or not there is any evidence that suggests that he has disappeared, is not alive or anything of the kind, this makes you suspect that this individual is hiding from justice and therefore all the actions undertaken by SPAK consider him a living person who is hiding from justice. SPAK has strong doubts that Martinaj is still alive”, claimed Lita.
