The ambassador of Albania in Turkey, Kastriot Robo, says that there are Albanian citizens who have been victims of the earthquake that hit the country a few days ago.

In an interview for Euronews Albania, Robo said that among the victims are some Turkish citizens of Albanian origin, as he added that they still do not have exact figures.

“Fortunately, it does not appear to us that there are Albanian victims. It turns out that some victims, members of the Albanian community, are Turkish citizens of Albanian origin in these affected areas. We do not have exact statistics, but regarding the associations of Albanians in these countries, we are informed that they have lost their relatives. There is no exact number related to this number of Albanians affected in these areas”, he emphasized.
