The head of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, delivered his speech before the Parliament of Albania, while a plenary session was taking place inside the institution.
In today’s protest, Berisha pointed out that it is not the DP’s revolution, but a powerful Albanian movement.
“They don’t enter our houses directly like gangs, but through our pockets, in our taxes, in all of your public assets, they steal at night, they steal during the day. They hate regular citizens. Do you see them meeting with citizens? Never. They come once every four years with bags full of euros that they stole from you,” Berisha said.
According to the chief democrat, no Albanian can agree that in order to steal taxes, roads should be built at a price 6-10 times more expensive.
