Journalist Arian Çani stated that the mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, has ambitions to become prime minister.

During Euronews Albania’s ‘NOW with Erla Mehilli’, Arian Çani said that Veliaj can’t wait for the moment when the head of the government, Edi Rama, is overthrown from power.

“You tell me, today who is the person who has the ambition to take Edi Rama’s place? Except for Erion Veliaj. No, Berisha doesn’t have it, because he wouldn’t be doing what he is doing, he is doing deja vu things, he would be doing something else. For me, this is the main thing. There is no shadow leader, that is, a shadow prime minister, except for the mayor, who is waiting for now. He is waiting for Rama to fall as soon as possible so that he can take his place”, he emphasized.
