The deputy of the Democratic Party, Kreshnik Çollaku, says that characters from the opposition have collaborated with Prime Minister Edi Rama and former FBI official, Charles McGonigal, to hit the former chief democrat, Lulzim Basha. In an interview for Euronews Albania, Kreshnik Çollaku said that we should wait for the opening of the judicial process to see new facts about this issue. “Let’s wait for the process to open, at least the Tirana process, where Mr. Rama is directly involved, his influence, his investment to damage, smear his direct political rival at that time, Lulzim Basha and others who have given him a hand of Edi Rama, although not motivated by political interests, but by affairs of the nature of dirty political cooperation. Clearly, opposition figures have contributed to a certain extent to this contamination of the opposition leader at that time. Yes, it seems that opposition figures were also involved in this story, they cooperated with Rama and Mcgonigal to attack the DP and its chairman at the time. This is obvious”, he emphasized.
