The spokesman of the Catholic Church in Albania, Dom Mark Pashkja, explained the terrifying stories from the survivors in Turkey, where the case of a little girl who said she was fed by a white-bearded old man caused a stir.

In an interview for Euronews Albania, he said that the trace of faith lies within every human being while adding that the love for God and faith can lead to miracles.

“Let me express my condolences to all the families. What happened is not very easy to explain. The earthquake in Turkey made us see the miracles themselves. The trace of faith lies within man, within man, there is that calling to have a relationship with the Almighty God. We need to build a value system based on trust. Love for God and faith lead to miracles,” he said.
