The director of the Office for Kosovo in the government of Serbia, Petar Petkovic, stated that Belgrade has not consulted with the EU countries regarding the European plan for the normalization of relations with Prishtina.
According to Petković, they were not asked by European officials about this plan.
“They didn’t ask us anything about that plan. We did not participate in the discussions for the creation of that document. They want to solve the Kosovo issue in a way that suits them”, he emphasized.
Regarding the Association, Petkovic said that the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, does not want to form it.
“First of all, he is saying this to avoid the obligation to form the Union of Serbian Municipalities, Prishtina for ten years has rejected the formation of the Association, which is an obstacle to the survival of the Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija. “, said Petkovic.
