Scholz confirms it: On October 16, the Berlin Process Summit will be held in Tirana

On October 16 of this year, the Summit of the Berlin Process will be held in Tirana.

The news was confirmed by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz during the joint press conference in Berlin with Prime Minister Edi Rama.

“Preparations for this have now progressed. On October 16, the summit will take place. The Summit of the Berlin Process, for the first time in the almost 10-year history of the process, will take place in a capital of the Western Balkans.

The Berlin process, since 2014, has shown what potential exists in the comprehensive cooperation of the 6 Western Balkan states”, he emphasized.

“The rapid integration of the 6 countries of the Western Balkans is of strategic importance for the German government”, said Scholz, among others.
