The Tourism Fair is taking place in Berlin, where there is also an Albanian stand that will remain open until March 9.

Erida Duro, director of the tourism program at the Ministry of Tourism, said in an interview with Euronews Albania journalist Eksiola Shehu that there has been a lot of interest in the Albanian stand, especially from tour operators who see Albania as an unexplored destination.

“We have the sea, we have the mountain, the special cultural heritage that tourists find within a small and accessible Albania. There is an increased attention of people who want to come to Albania. What we expect is that Albania offers not only seasonal but also year-round tourism”, said Duro.
