Berisha extends his March 8 greetings from Shkodra, hands out roses to the women present

On the occasion of March 8, World Women’s Day, former Prime Minister Sali Berisha held a conversation with women and girls of Shkoder district.

Berisha called the role of women and former persecuted women crucial in the overthrow of the regime and the start of democratic processes in Albania, as he emphasized that Albanians with a free vote will protect pluralism.

Berisha said that the first martyr in Shkodër is the mother who was buried in Rozafa fortress.

According to the former prime minister, Shkodra in decades will remain a symbol of endurance for dignity, while he emphasized that the Rama government has isolated the northern metropolis for 10 years in terms of investments.

At the end of the meeting, the chief democrat decided to present white roses to the Shkodra ladies, as they sang the song “Lulebore” together.
