Prime Minister Edi Rama has reacted regarding the decision of the Council of Ministers of the EU to remove visas for Kosovo.

Through a post on Facebook, the head of the Albanian government writes that this is a delayed step by the European Union. Rama emphasizes that the EU is finally removing from itself the stain of shame regarding the treatment of Kosovo.

“A step unjustly delayed for years was taken today by the EU, which is finally removing from itself the stain of shame of treating Kosovo as if it were a country outside of Europe! Congratulations not only to Kosovo, but also to the European Union”, writes Rama.
