Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha presented on Sunday the candidate for the Municipality of Pogradec, Zini Tollozhina, who emerged from the Primaries, to run for the May 14 elections.

Berisha said that the candidates of the primaries are candidates based on the people’s vote and their will, while the SP candidates are proposals of criminal clans.

“In the fall of 2021, in Pogradec, in Korça, throughout Albania, there was a legitimate request: to appoint the candidates ourselves, and this was a fair request that was completely taken into account. With your vote and that of our sympathizers, today the candidates of freedom are competing in 61 municipalities of the country against the candidates of basements, caves and secret files. Neither has heard a single word about the procedure followed by the other party of the crime minister for the nomination of its candidates. It follows the procedure of fines, of submission, of proposing criminal clans, of suitcases with euros that are paid to run”, said Berisha.
