The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, said that he had an “open and correct conversation” with the special envoy of the US State Department for the Western Balkans, Gabriel Escobar.

On March 15, Escobar started his visit to Serbia, where, in addition to Vucic, he will also meet with the Serbian Prime Minister, Ana Bërnabič.

“I believe in the further improvement of relations between Serbia and the USA,” Vučić wrote on his Instagram account. The visit of the senior American official to Belgrade comes two days before the new round of dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, which will be held on March 18 in Ohrid, North Macedonia, where the parties will discuss the implementation of the European proposal.
