The High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Policy, Joseph Borrell said that there is no information about any Albanian citizen being declared non grata by the EU.

“From our point of view, the only thing we can say is that we take the decisions on the sanctions of the Council and these are part of the foreign and security policy, but as far as I know, I do not have any information about the proposal for sanctions on Albanian citizens,” – said Borrell, while being asked about the EU’s attitude towards Sali Berisha, who has been declared non grata by the USA.

The senior EU official gave the statement to journalists at the joint conference with Edi Rama and Oliver Varhely.
