Sali Berisha has called on honest socialists to join him against the government of Prime Minister Edi Rama.

From Lushnja, where he presented the primary candidate Eduart Sharkë, Berisha said that the local elections on May 14 will determine pluralism.

“Today we have in power a man who produces only evil and negativity for Albanians from morning to evening. Today we have a government in which the rights of citizens are trampled underfoot. Today we have a government that impoverishes and makes its citizens miserable by stealing every hour, every day, every season, every month, and every year. Then must we continue to sleepwalk, must we continue to remain indifferent. Every honest socialist should join us, every non-party citizen should join us. You have ascertained what anti-constitutional, anti-democratic attitudes Edi Rama holds, for his shameful and criminal efforts to prevent the PD from participating in the elections; no, his effort shows the fear, the horror he has of your vote and you on May 14, together with all Albanians, will give the punishment you deserve”, he emphasized.
