An Albanian MP in Sweden has received the title of “hero” in Montenegro after saving a baby from drowning in the Moraça River.
The minor was with his grandmother, who unfortunately drowned, but Adnan Dibrani managed to pull his grandson out of the water.
The MP said that he happened to be passing by that road when he saw the baby in the water and without thinking whether it was a doll or a baby, he rushed to help it.
The MP was in Podgorica as part of the observation mission of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe on the day of the presidential elections in Montenegro.
Adnan Dibrani who is from Mitrovica and migrated to Sweden in 1992. He is a member of the Swedish Parliament from among the Social Democrats.
