The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, said that his position regarding the agreement on the normalization of relations with Kosovo has not changed “not even one bit” and reiterated that Belgrade will not implement the parts of the agreement related to Kosovo’s membership in the United Nations.

“There are no talks on membership in the United Nations and there is no recognition. Anything else that means a real normalization of relations, without tensions and without conflicts, Serbia will implement,” declared Vucic on March 21 after meeting in Belgrade with the chief diplomat of Italy, Antonio Tajani.

At the meeting in Ohrid, North Macedonia on March 18, Kosovo and Serbia agreed on the Annex to the implementation of the Agreement towards the normalization of relations between them, writes REL. Although Serbia’s president, Aleksandar Vučić, and Kosovo’s prime minister, Albin Kurti, did not sign any documents in Ohrid, European mediators said they expect the parties to implement everything the leaders agreed on. Kosovo and Serbia agreed that they will not block the implementation of any article of the agreement.
