The former leader of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, in a short statement to the media after leaving the Assembly, said that he will be part of the campaign in all of Albania.

In his speech, Basha held Sali Berisha responsible for the situation in which the Democratic Party is today.

“The one responsible is the one who divided the PD. I have no further comments for today. I will definitely be part of the campaign in all of Albania”, said Basha. As for Berisha’s accusations about Russian financing and the audit of Reestablishment for financing 500 thousand dollars from Biniatta Trade, Basha answered: “To ask the list of guests at his family parties.” After the meeting held the day before, the commanding chairman of the DP, Enkelejd Alibeaj, announced that the DP will compete with its own candidates in 16 municipalities, while the candidates for the municipalities of Bulqiza and Vaut de Deja are still being discussed.
