The Multipurpose Emergency of the Central Hospital at QSUT will be reorganized, in the new hospital.

During a meeting with the heads of services, the Minister of Health and Social Protection Ogerta Manastirliu said that this hospital should be made functional as soon as possible.

Meanwhile, the building where the emergency room is now located will be turned into a day hospital with 60 beds.

“We will have a reorganization of the Multipurpose Emergency and with the transfer of services to the new hospital. We are ready in all the parameters that have been requested so far, to start the transfer and operation of this hospital. Making this hospital functional also paves the way for a new investment. Where today is the current emergency of the QSUT, that is, in the A1 building as we call it, or in the Surgery Hospital today, we will have the opportunity to have a day hospital with 60 beds. We will also have a dialysis center as well as a toxicology structure within this hospital”, said Ogerta Manastirliu, the Minister of Health.
