The police in Tirana have arrested a 31-year-old man from Kurbini who was caught with 41 kg and 700 grams of heroin in 62 packages.

Armando Papa was driving the “Benz” type vehicle with which the narcotics were being transported, while his accomplice was declared wanted.

Based on the information received on the operative route, the police located the suspect vehicle and followed it, after continuing the pursuit, near the airport roundabout, they stopped the suspect vehicle.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Tirana Judicial District Court for further action.
