In The Hague has started the second day of the trial against former KLA leaders Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Jakup Krasniqi and Rexhep Selimi.
The defense side of the accused had the turn to present their arguments before the Special Court.

On the first day of the trial on April 3, specialized prosecutors to defend their case presented several communiques issued by the KLA, which they said target opponents of this army.
On April 3, the trial against Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Vesel, Jakup Krasniqi and Rexhep Selim began, after more than two years from the confirmation of the indictment.
The prosecution held an opening statement for about five hours, claiming that there is enough evidence to convict the former KLA leaders of war crimes and crimes against humanity.
At the beginning of the session, the four accused were declared not guilty again, to the ten charges.
The prosecution said that the four accused had founded a “joint criminal enterprise” that, during the war, had targeted people it considered opponents of the KLA.
On the first day of the trial, some prosecution evidence was presented in the form of KLA communiqués, television interviews, documentaries and personal notes of some of the accused.
