The United States of America expects Kosovo and Serbia to implement all agreements reached in the previous negotiations, including the formation of the Association of Serb-majority municipalities, the USA Department of State told for the Voice Of America.

A month ago, in North Macedonia, the representatives of Kosovo and Serbia, reached with the mediation of the European Union and with the support of the USA, an oral agreement on the implementation of the European proposal for the normalization of relations.

“The USA and the EU expect both sides to fulfill their obligations and implement previous agreements from the dialogue, including the Association of Serb-Majority Municipalities, as the two leaders have confirmed they will do at the meeting of March 18 in Ohrid”, says DASH’s written response to the VOA about the question about its implementation.

DASH has emphasized that the USA remains actively engaged in supporting Kosovo and Serbia in the implementation of the agreements.

“We are focused on the implementation of the Agreement for the normalization of relations between the two countries, in order to help them develop more peaceful relations, which would enable stability, security and prosperity in the region,” has been said in the DASH statement.
