The Socialist Party does not give a number as to how many municipalities it intends to win in the May 14th elections, but Prime Minister Edi Rama is sure that they will achieve a meaningful result.

Speaking to the media after the meeting of the SP Chairmanship, Rama declared that the voters will reward them for the good work already done and motivate them in the future.

Rama disregarded talking about the opposition, while stating:

“Our true opponents are the problems in each municipality and the problems we must solve as a country. We are in an incredible moment, as we are coming out of a very strong turn in the economy. You know the significant evaluations of the World Bank report regarding Albania. In the span of a year, starting from last year’s April to this April, the average salary for the public sector will reach 900 Euros.”

Meanwhile, the Prime Minister will be traveling to Great Britain today.

It is known that this visit will be focused in sports and an agreement to bring the Manchester City football academy in the city of Durrës.

The Albanian delegation comprises of the Prime Minister, the Minister for Education and Sports, Evis Kushi and the Mayor of Durrës, Emirjana Sako.
