The summer tourist season will start with greater security on the beaches. The legal obligation to deploy coastguards on every beach area this year will be completed with a qualified staff.
900 university sports students will be trained to serve as coast guards during the summer tourist season. The training is being done by the National Emergency which has already certified the first 30 guards.
The training will serve to enable the coast guard to provide first aid and immediately notify the emergency.
Meanwhile, in order to have a safe tourist season, 28 summer health centers will be opened along the entire coastline in June, as well as 18 ambulances will be available to vacationers.
