New details have emerged from the tragedy in Serbia, where a teenager killed 8 pupils and a school guard in central Belgrade.
Head of the Police Department in Belgrade, Veselin Milić said police received a call at 08:42 in the morning, by an unknown person, identified with the initials K.K, belonging to the author of the incident himself. He confessed to the police that he had shot at people and according to Milić, the act had been planned for a month.
The Minister of Education, Branko Ružić declared three days of mourning in Serbia, after the tragedy. From Thursday, classes will start with a one-minute silence, to honor all those who were killed in the school shooting.
“My deepest condolences to the biggest tragedy that has happened to Serbia and our education system,” Ružić said.
7 girls and a boy, as well as the school guard were killed this Wednesday by a 14 years old teenager, meanwhile 6 other children and a teacher have been wounded. 6 children and a teacher are currently in hospital getting treatment.
