The murder of 8 children in Belgrade has shocked Serbia. Borivoje Laziç, a student learning the Albanian language in Belgrade, tells for Euronews Albania that insecurity has increased and citizens cannot explain how a 14-year-old can turn into a murderer.

“We all are shocked and we do not know how to behave after this event. How can a 14-year-old kill 9 people?! I think that this is the biggest massacre that have ever happened in Serbia,” Lazic declared.

The 22-year-old says that silence is prevailing in Serbia. According to him, everyone is afraid for their lives.

“No one here feels safe now. In this situation, anyone can be a murderer, a psychopath,” he said.

The 14-year-old identified as Kosta.K killed the guard and 8 classmates. He had planned all the murders. In the Serbian media, it is said that one of the reasons that led the minor guy to commit that kind of  massacre was bullying.

I think that nothing justifies him, the massacre he committed. He was born a psychopath. I was bullied in high school, but that doesn’t justify it,” said Lazič.

Serbia has announced 3 days of national mourning for the incident, while the 14-year-old Serbian boy was sent to a psychiatric hospital, and his parents were arrested.
