Alkent Pozhegu is no stranger to the world of portraits. The Albanian artist from Kosovo combines wheat, rice, sunflower seeds, corn and lentils to create portraits of well-known personalities from all over the world.
This time, he dedicated a portrait to the newly coronated king in the United Kingdom, Charles III.
The special creation was done in the city of Gjakova in Kosovo, on the day of the King’s coronation.
Pozhegu has previously done such portraits of Saint Mother Teresa, Albanian singer Rita Ora, the late Queen Elizabeth II, former American President Donald Trump, or football personalities.
So far, he’s broken three Guinness World Records for the biggest wheat portrait. Through his special works, he’s made waves even in foreign medias. The artist says he wants to break barriers through his art and achieve even more than what he already has.
