A white banner with black writing, which reads: ‘Jesse lives inside us forever’, was placed today by Jessica Malaj’s classmates on the outer fence of Isiss ‘Fiani-Leccisotti’ classical high school.

At 9:45 o’clock the school bell rang for a minute’s silence and everyone students, teachers and administrative staff stopped to silently remember the 16-year-old who tragically lost her life.

This tragedy shocked Italy on Sunday, where a 45-year-old Albanian, Taulant Malaj executed Italian citizen Massimo De Santis, injured his wife and killed his 16-year-old daughter.

Malaj suspected that his wife was cheating on him with the Italian citizen Massimo De Santis, whom he met on the stairs of the palace where he lived.

Malay took out the knife and executed the Italian man. Then he went up to the apartment where he tried to kill his wife.

Jessica, his daughter, was defending her mother, but at that moment she was stabbed by her father then she died. Tefta Malaj, Taulanti’s wife, was seriously injured, but was able to escape her injuries and is out of danger in the hospital.
