Two internationally wanted persons from Serbia and Greece extradited to Albania

Two people who were declared internationally wanted have been arrested in Serbia and Greece and will be extradited to Albania.

As a result of the cooperation with Interpol Athens, Albanian citizen K. R., 30 years old, was extradited from Greece to Albania.

This citizen was declared international wanted by the Interpol Tirana CPC, after the Court of First Instance for Serious Crimes, Tirana, in 2019, assigned the security measure “Arrest in prison”, for the criminal offenses “Trafficking of narcotics”, “Structured criminal group” and “Commitment of criminal offenses by criminal organization and structured criminal group”. Citizen K. R. was part of a criminal group that dealt with international drug trafficking.

As a result of cooperation with Interpol Belgrade, citizen Almario Vojović, 29, was extradited from Serbia to Albania.

This citizen was declared international wanted by the Interpol Tirana CPC, after the Court of the Judicial District of Tirana has sentenced him to 2 years of imprisonment for the criminal offense of “Aiding illegal crossing of borders” and to another 1 year of imprisonment for the criminal offense “Illegal possession of cold weapons”.

Citizen Almario Vojović, in 2018, sheltered in his apartment and transported, against payment, foreign citizens to help them cross the border illegally. Also, this citizen has, without the relevant permit, in public spaces, a metal handle (fist amplifier), classified as a cold weapon.

Also, citizen Klodjan Hajderlli, 43 years old, resident of Elbasan, was extradited from Albania to Italy.

“This citizen was declared internationally wanted by Interpol of Rome, in March 2022, after the Italian judicial authorities have sentenced him to 8 years of imprisonment for the criminal offense of “violation of the law on narcotics”, of which he has left to commit another 5 years,” the police announced.
