The British ambassador in Kosovo, Nicholas Abbott, has said that the allies want to see progress in the normalization of relations between Kosovo and Serbia.

He announced that this week will be “important visitors” in Pristina, among others the director for the Western Balkans in the British government.

“Kosovo’s allies want to see progress in the normalization of relations with Serbia. So, now is the time for Kosovo to officially propose a draft statute for the Association, based on the vision presented by the Prime Minister last week, in accordance with the criteria set by the EU”, wrote Abbott, among other things.

This comes after the meeting of May 2 in Brussels, the Management Team for the drafting of the Association’s statute, consisting of four members of the Serbian community, presented the draft statute for the formation of the Association.
