Kosovo is the most important project of the international factor, which resulted in stopping the genocide of Serbia and disturbed the road to independence, said the Speaker of the Assembly, Glauk Konjufca.

He hosted the Council of American Ambassadors, chaired by Timothy A. Chorba.

According to the communique from the Assembly, Konjufca has expressed its readiness for deepening cooperation to the American diplomats.

“Kosovo is the most important project of the international factor, which resulted in stopping the genocide of Serbia and paved the way to independence. The Republic of Kosovo today is a factor of peace and stability in the region and Europe. Meetings of this nature keep us closer to each other and are also a good opportunity to address topics of vital interest. Always grateful to the United States of America for the vital support and continuous care”, said Konjufca.
