In order to advance the health services, the Ministry of Health announces that it has opened the tender for the supply of medical equipment for the clinics of University Clinical Center of Kosovo.

According to this ministry, the value of the project is 1 million and 920 thousand euros, while investments are planned in the Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic, where the supply of medical equipment for Medically Assisted Fertilization (MAF), as well as the supply of medical instruments and inventory for the room and IVF. The Gastroenterology Clinic with Hapatology, the Urology Clinic and the Cardiology Clinic will also be supplied with medical equipment according to the plans of University Hospital and Clinic Service of Kosovo.

“A radical transformation is also planned for the Ophthalmology Clinic, in several stages which include the supply of medical equipment and the equipment of this clinic with ophthalmological surgical instruments. This will enable the expansion of the range of diagnostic procedures, directly affecting the reduction of waiting lists for services, as well as further advancing the quality standard of services in this clinic”, the announcement states.

From this ministry they also say that: “The commitments of the Government of Kosovo for public health are being realized as planned with the 2023 budget. This is the largest budget ever made for the health sector in our country”.
