The Central Election Commission has published the participation of citizens in the voting until 8 o’clock on May 14.

Only 1.29% of citizens voted.

Reporting comes from 2,468 polling stations out of 5,213 in total. Meanwhile, out of 1,784,845 voters in the list of reported voting centers, 2,304 voters showed up at 8 am.

Today, on May 14, Albanians will go to the ballot boxes to elect mayors and members of municipal councils for the next 4 years.

According to the latest list by the Ministry of the Interior, 3 million and 650,550 Albanian citizens have the right to vote in the May 14 elections. Of these, 122,545 are citizens who have the opportunity to vote for the first time. These citizens will be able to exercise their right in 5,211 polling stations throughout the country.
