Official, SP wins three municipalities after electronic counting of results

The Socialist Party has officially claimed victory in the three municipalities where electronic counting was administered.

SP’s candidate for Kamza, Rakip Suli has won with 60.65% of the votes. His opponents from the Democratic Party and the “Together We Win” coalition, Bilbil Bajraktari and Arjan Hoxha respectively got 4.24% and 35.11% of the votes. This is the first time the socialists win this municipality in a direct vote.

The socialist candidate for the municipality of Vora, Blerim Shera won with 74.13% of the votes, while his opponent from the “Together We Win” coalition, Indrit Hoxha got 25.87% of the votes.

Elbasan was a close race, but the socialist candidate and current mayor Gledian Llatja was reconfirmed with 55.03% of the vote, compared to 44.97% Luçiano Boçi from “Together We Win” coalition got.

These three municipalities are the first to have their final results, as electronic voting and counting was administered. There are still 58 other municipalities waiting to be counted.
