Ballot boxes have been gathered; however, counting started after deays in Kavaja.

According to information, these delays came as a result of problems with registration and protocol.

DP deputy Ervin Salianji is present in Kavaja to monitor the counting. He is hopeful that the “Together We Win” coalition will win the municipality.

“Our expectations are that we will win Kavaja, regardless of pressure, threats, intimidations, regardless of vote buying and using the entire public administration and state assets to influence on the elections’ result. We hope Kavaja will return to the citizens, with the opposition winning,” Salianji told Euronews Albania.
