Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis has reacted to the victory of Fredi Beleri from the ‘Together We Win’ coalition, who won the Municipality of Himara even that he is in prison.

According to the Greek media, the Greek Prime Minister has emphasized that Albania’s path to Europe passes through respecting the rights of the Greek national minority.

“I was especially happy when I was informed that Fredi Beleri succeeded and was elected mayor of Himara with a small margin. I wish and I hope that this adventure will end soon”, he said, emphasizing that “Albania’s path to Europe goes through respecting the rights of the Greek national minority”.

The Greek Prime Minister also commented on the relations between Greece and Turkey.
