The Together We Win coalition has experienced the deepest defeat in its entire DP history.

While the counting of votes continues, the Socialist Party has won about 38 municipalities so far, while the “Together We Win” coalition has won about 7 municipalities.

But what more important is the result in the municipality of Tropoja and Shkodër.

These two municipalities, Shkodra and Tropoja, are two historical strongholds that DP has always won and have been the centers of its political activism.

But in these elections, Socialist Party candidate, Benet Beci, won the municipality of Shkodra, with 33,953 votes, while Bardh Spahia from the “Together We Win” coalition received 22,414 votes. Beci received about 10,000 more votes than his opponent.

In the municipality of Tropoja, the SP won with Rexhe Byberi candidate who received 5,126 votes, while Besnik Dushaj from the ‘Together We Win’ coalition received 4,876 votes.

Shkodra was not won by Socialist Party even though Democratic Party boycotted in 2019.
