The Socialist Party has won the local elections in the municipality of Pogradec and in the municipality of Shijak.

The SP candidate, Ilir Xhakolli, defeated the candidate of the Together We Win coalition, Zini Tollozhina, by nearly 10,000 votes.

While the candidate of the Socialist Party Elton Arbana has won the municipality of Shijak with a difference of 4400 votes from the candidate of the coalition Together We Win, Rezeart Tusha.

The last counting of the boxes was very welcomed by SP supporters in Shijak, they celebrated the victory with fireworks.
