Prime Minister Edi Rama came out for the first time in a conference to the media after most of the ballot boxes were counted throughout Albania.
He promised that he would start a tour to thank and respect all the citizens who voted.
“This is a very big victory to be won and I feel very small in front of the map filled with the colors of the victory of our candidates, from Tropoja to Konispol. I need to go to Shkodër as soon as possible, to start from the city most blessed by God and most mistreated by slaves, the tour will be held throughout Albania,” said Rama.
“Now that Albanians elected those they wanted, we must continue without wasting time, the work that was slowed down by the campaign, not only at the local level, but also at the level of the central government. In the meantime, a working group will prepare a detailed report of the vote reading, on which we will start working further,” added the Prime Minister.
