The State Commissioner of Elections, Ilirjan Celibashi, said in the Barometer show on Euronews Albania that a good and professional tradition has been created through the Barometer survey, in this form he also referred to the 2021 elections.

The Chief Commissioner of the CEC also spoke about the election process, stating that it was a successful process, but not without problems.

He said that the local elections on May 14, compared to the previous elections, were a successful process.

“There are several factors or facts that show that the election process of May 14, 2023, especially the process of issuing the result and administering the election result, I think is different from the previous editions of the elections, either in quality or in terms of time which define these elections as successful. The problem was especially on Sunday morning, when we had problems with the equipment in some polling stations”, Ilirjan Celibashi told to Euronews Albania.
