The Serbian state has once again established non-tariff barriers to Kosovo’s products.

This decision by the Serbian authorities includes every product that enters Serbia country from Kosovo, which must undergo a laboratory analysis and until the analysis is obtained, the products in question must be blocked in customs warehouses.

The producers say that this decision of Serbia is unacceptable and that it comes at a time when there is an increase in exports to this country.

The owner of the oil factory in Kosovo, Berat Mustafa, says that for several weeks the Serbian authorities have imposed unjustifiable procedures. He said that the products are blocked for weeks, until the answer of the results comes out.

Mustafa claims that he has informed the Kosovo institutions about this situation and demands a quick response from the state.

Meanwhile, the president of the Economic Chamber, Lulzim Rafuna, in an answer to RTK, said that this barrier of Serbia should be eliminated as soon as possible.
