Minister of Internal Affairs, Xhelal Sveçla, welcomed today in a meeting the ambassador of Turkey in Kosovo, Sabri Tunç Angili.

On this occasion, Sveçla informed the ambassador about the priority of the Government and the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the fight against organized crime and corruption.

During this meeting, Sveçla also informed the ambassador about the reforms that the Ministry of Internal Affairs is undergoing.

The minister appreciated the support that Turkey has given to strength the capacities of security institutions, with special emphasis on the Kosovo Police.

Angili thanked Sweden for the hospitality and expressed readiness for deepening the cooperation between Turkey and Kosovo.
