A tourist from Texas, USA was found dead in the hostel where she was staying, in the city of Shkodra.

From the information so far, A. N. has lost her life, due to an overdose of medicines.

Around 18:00, the operating room of the Shkodra Local Police Directorate received a notification that in the “Tre Heronjte” neighborhood, in the hostel where she lived for rent, the citizen A. N., 36 years old, was found by her mother, dead in Texas, USA.

The police services and the investigative group immediately went to the scene and from the preliminary information on the body of the 36-year-old woman, no signs of violence were found.

From the first investigative actions, it is suspected that the citizen A. N. died due to an overdose of medicines.

The investigative group continues its work to fully clarify the circumstances of this event.
