Serbian President Aleksandër Vucic said in a press conference that during the clashes in the north of Kosovo, 52 Serbs were injured, while 3 of them are in serious condition. Vucic also said that 4 Serbian citizens have been arrested for whom release is being sought.
Serbian president called for Serbian citizens not to conflict with NATO, but on the other hand he said that if the Albanians shoot, things will be different and NATO has also been informed about this.
“52 Serbs who sought help in Mitrovica of Kosovo were injured. Three of them were seriously injured. Four Serbs have been arrested, we are negotiating to release them. 41 members of KFOR were injured, mainly from Italy and Hungary, everyone knows, these are serious consequences of Kurti’s decisions. Our army is placed where it should be.
I call on the Serbs not to enter into a conflict with NATO, because this is what Kurti wants most. When they protest, I know that they will not accept the invasion, that they do it peacefully, like today.
If the Albanian invader shoots, then things will be different. We have also conveyed this to the NATO pact. I repeat it for the last time and ask the international community to reason with Albin Kurti. Not with announcements giving visa liberalization, but to take measures. If they don’t, I’m afraid it will be too late for all of us.
All citizens of Serbia should know that we will do our best to maintain peace, but that we will not allow the killing of Serbs in Kosovo”, said Aleksandër Vucic at the conference.
