The Ambassador of the United States of America, Jeff Hovenier, today held a conversation with Prime Minister Albin Kurti.

After the meeting, he issued a statement to the media where they said that they spoke with Kurti about the situation in the North, where he reiterated the position and demands of the USA, which were also expressed by the American Secretary, Antony Blinken.

According to him, it is urgent to take steps to de-escalate the situation.

“I have repeated the American position on what should happen, which is that we do not see the need for the three presidents to exercise their duties from those facilities at this time, and we do not believe that it will be helpful for the Kosovo police to be in the facilities “, said Hovenier.
