Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, welcomed the French Ambassador to Kosovo, Olivier Guerot, and the German Deputy Ambassador, Matthias Conrad, in a meeting this Monday.

The press office of prime minister in Kosovo informs that during the meeting the ambassadors and the head of the government agreed on the vital importance of not escalating the conflict in the North.

It is also reported that in the meeting Kosovo Prime Minister stressed the necessity for the full establishment of the rule of law in the four municipalities with a Serbian majority.

“Prime Minister informed them about the high professionalism and indisputable integrity of the Kosovo Police in managing the situation without any mistakes. The full establishment of the rule of law in the four municipalities in the north of Kosovo is necessary both for the removal of criminal elements and for an open campaign before free and democratic elections in the future. The need for full, quick and unconditional implementation of the Basic Agreement of February 27 and its Annex was also emphasized,” prime minister’s office announced.
